Cookie Policy

Written following the Italian supervisory authority’s guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.
1. SHORT VERSION
This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social plug-in and no external font.
The only third-party service that can use cookies is the Google Maps map on the Contacts page. It is not loaded when the page opens: it loads only if you accept, with the button in the cookie bar or the one shown in place of the map. If you reject, or simply close the bar, the map is not loaded, and you can still open our location on Google Maps with an ordinary link.
To remember your choice the website keeps one entry in your browser; a second one keeps the window presenting the Essential range from opening again on the home page during the same visit. Neither is used to identify or follow you.

3. HOW TO CHANGE YOUR CHOICE
You can change your choice at any time: change your cookie choice (the cookie bar appears again). You can also delete the website data from your browser settings; any cookies already set by Google after you loaded the map can be deleted in the same way.
4. LINKS TO OTHER SERVICES
The WhatsApp buttons, the links to LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, the whistleblowing channel and the CELA Essential website are ordinary links: nothing is loaded from those services until you click them. After the click, the service you open applies its own cookie policy.
The “Staff access” link at the bottom of the pages leads to the area reserved for CELA staff on essentials.celaplatforms.com: that area uses a technical cookie, described in the cookie policy of that website.
5. SERVER ACCESS LOGS
These are not cookies, but they are a form of processing: the web server records the requests it receives (IP address, user agent, page, timestamp) for security purposes and deletes them after 30 days. See the privacy policy.
6. THE SERVER HOSTING THE WEBSITE
The website is hosted by Vulcania System S.r.l. (Verona) on servers in Germany. The server delivers the pages and receives the requests sent with the form: it sets no cookies, adds no measurement tools and uses no third-party services to protect the form.
Should a tool that requires consent ever be added, this page will be updated and your consent will be asked before it is used.
